Jonathan Matkowsky

Jonathan Matkowsky is currently a Principal Security Researcher at Microsoft, where they assist defenders in contextualizing their threat landscape. Previously, Jonathan held several legal and technology roles, including Associate General Counsel at Las Vegas Sands Corp. and Legal Director at Yahoo, where they won the Yahoo Futurist Award. They founded a SaaS-based digital brand security start-up, Maccabim, which was later acquired by RiskIQ, where they served as VP of Digital Risk. Jonathan began their career in commercial litigation at Seward & Kissel LLP and Darby & Darby. They are also pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at Johns Hopkins University, expected to complete in 2030.
