Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith has extensive experience in product management, particularly within cloud services and technology. Notably, Jonathan served as Senior Director of Product Management at Oracle and then transitioned to Microsoft, where roles included Principal Lead Product Manager for Azure Media and Entertainment and Group Program Manager for various initiatives, including IoT and Azure Core Infrastructure. Jonathan led high-priority engagements with major partners like Disney and DreamWorks and played a crucial role in product strategy, development, and engineering execution across multiple programs. Currently, Jonathan is the Product Management Lead for Azure Open Source Incubations at Microsoft. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in History and Philosophy, as well as two Master of Science degrees in Planning, Public Policy, Management, and Historic Architecture from the University of Oregon.
