Jonathan Westhues

Jonathan Westhues is the Partner Director of New Technology at Microsoft, where they lead the development of large-scale capacitive touch and pen technologies. Prior to this role, Jonathan worked at Perceptive Pixel as a Senior Research Engineer, where they conducted pioneering experiments on projected capacitive touch for high-end displays. They also served as a Research Associate at MERL and developed radio software at Research in Motion. Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, graduating with distinction and making the Dean's Honours List.
