Jordi Ribas

Jordi Ribas is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience at Microsoft since February 2000, currently serving as Corporate Vice President of Search & AI, leading Bing's engineering, product, and growth teams globally. Previous roles include Partner Director of Program Management for Bing's search relevance and user experience teams, General Manager of the Search Technology Center in Europe, and General Manager of HDi, overseeing digital media software initiatives. Ribas began their career in research at Sharp Labs of America, focusing on data compression, and also interned at NTT in Japan, where research centered on optical flow algorithms. Educational background includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and UC Irvine, respectively, along with a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Escola d'Enginyeria La Salle in Barcelona.
