Jovan Fitzgerald

Jovan Fitzgerald is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Senior Security Incident Responder at Microsoft since March 2018, after previously holding the title of Service Engineer 2. Prior experience includes over nine years in the United States Marine Corps, where Jovan held multiple roles, including Information System Security Officer, Information Assurance Manager, Computer Information Security Manager, and Network and Computer Systems Administrator. Jovan's responsibilities encompassed data security, network monitoring, hardening concepts, incident response, and the management of communication information systems. Jovan holds a degree in Technical Management with a focus on Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Western Governors University and has also completed training through the Microsoft Software and Systems Academy.
