Silicon Engineer

Juan Garza is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in electrical and computer engineering. As a Thrive Scholar from June 2018 to May 2024, Juan participated in a comprehensive college access and professional development program for underrepresented first-generation students. Juan served as a Course Assistant at Rice University for fundamental courses in computer engineering, supporting students with projects and fostering community. Leadership roles as Vice President and various positions within the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers showcased Juan's ability to manage events and build relationships for organizational growth. Research experience at Rice SIMS Lab included programming for integrated circuits and enhancing chip testing methods.
