Julia Charter

Julia (Charter) Denman serves as the Chief Audit and Risk Executive at Microsoft since March 2014, guiding a team that evaluates business strategies and manages global risk and compliance, while reporting to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. Previously, Julia held roles including Corporate Vice President & CFO for Worldwide Marketing and Consumer Business and Microsoft Devices Group. Additionally, Julia has been a member of the Board of Directors at The Clorox Company since May 2022 and has extensive experience at Procter & Gamble, where Julia served as Assistant Treasurer and CFO for various divisions, as well as leading global mergers and acquisitions. Julia holds a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified ACMA from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
