Lissa Shook serves as the Assistant General Counsel at Microsoft within the C+AI Trusted Platform Engineering division. With a robust background as a legal and policy advocate, Lissa has distilled complex regulatory concepts into actionable guidance for diverse audiences. Prior to joining Microsoft, Lissa worked as an attorney for the Federal Public Defender and gained valuable experience as a law clerk at the Oregon Supreme Court, as well as in private practice at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. Lissa holds an A.B. with honors from Duke University and a J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School.
