Liz Friedman

Liz Friedman serves as the Senior Director of HR AI Transformation at Microsoft, where leadership focuses on integrating AI into HR practices with an emphasis on Responsible AI. With a robust history at Microsoft, Liz has held various senior roles, including Senior HR Director for Microsoft Viva, where efforts centered on enhancing employee experience through an integrated platform, and Senior Director of Global Performance & Development, emphasizing talent management and cultural evolution. Additional roles included oversight of employee communications and global HR marketing strategies. Prior to rejoining Microsoft, Liz was the Director of Alumni Relations at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and began their career as a management consultant. Liz holds an MBA from Duke University and a BA in Geography from Dartmouth College.
