Lizzie Landels

Lizzie Landels is an operations and strategy professional currently serving as the Chief of Staff for Technology for Fundamental Rights at Microsoft, a position they have held since 2025. Prior to this, Lizzie was a Director in the Business Management team for the Democracy Forward Initiative and a Senior Crisis Manager in Digital Security & Risk at Microsoft. Lizzie's extensive experience in public service includes roles as a Diplomat and Senior Policy Officer with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where they contributed to the Foreign Minister's Policy White Paper team. Lizzie also served as an Associate to a Supreme Court Judge in Western Australia and practiced law at King & Wood Mallesons. They are currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business.
