Marcus Ash

Marcus Ash is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product development and strategic leadership. Currently serving as Corporate Vice President at Microsoft since March 2024, Marcus leads a team focused on AI devices for Windows, encompassing the entire spectrum from silicon to cloud services. Previously, at Stripe, Marcus held the role of Head of Global Product and Strategy for a brief period from October 2023 to February 2024. Marcus's long tenure at Microsoft, beginning in 1999, included numerous leadership positions, culminating in a Corporate Vice President role where innovative hybrid edge computing devices powered by Windows 365 and AI were developed. Additional accomplishments involve enhancing user experiences in collaboration tools during the pandemic, managing integrations for productivity applications, and contributing to the evolution of Windows Mobile features. Marcus holds a Master of Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
