Maria Stern is a documentary filmmaker and the Director of Video Content at Microsoft, where they express innovative concepts in the Mixed Reality department. With a background as an Assistant Producer for Vision TV and CBC documentaries, Maria has also operated as a freelance camera operator since 2013, utilizing Sony and Canon equipment to create impactful visuals. In 2014, they founded Turquoise Films, specializing in documentary-style branded content. Maria continues to direct and produce documentary content, focusing on stories that inspire and contribute to a positive future. They are currently pursuing a BA in Radio and Television Arts at Ryerson University.
