Marlene Mhangami is currently a Senior Developer Advocate at Microsoft, where they experiment with Python and AI. Previously, they served as a Developer Advocate at Voltron Data and worked as a Software Engineer at NVIDIA. As the founder of Zimbopy, they established a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching girls how to code in Python. Marlene also held the position of Director and Vice-chair for the Python Software Foundation from 2017 to 2022 and currently serves as the Director and Chair of the Practitioner Board for the ACM, focusing on community engagement in computer science.
