Matei Oltean is a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, where they have been working on the Dynamics 365 mobile application since April 2019. They previously engaged in a research internship at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics focused on biomedical entity recognition and disambiguation in 2017, and served as a teaching assistant in Maths and Physics for high school students at Lycée Robert-Doisneau from 2014 to 2015. Matei also completed summer internships at Amadeus IT Group in 2016, developing a proof of technology for SQL over Hadoop. They hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from EPFL and a dual BSc and Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from École polytechnique.
