Matt Smith

Matt Smith is currently the Director of Supply Chain Security & Risk Management at Microsoft. Previously, they served as the Director of Data Bearing Device Security at Microsoft and held the position of Chief Security Officer at Aon Risk Labs, where they achieved SAS-70 certification and developed a Disaster Recovery plan. Matt founded Atlanta FreeNet and played a pivotal role in managing operations at Google, including overseeing the Hardware Operations Data Security program. Their extensive experience in network administration and systems engineering began in the early 1990s, showcasing a strong foundation in tech and risk management.
