Mayank Mahajan

Mayank Mahajan is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, where since May 2015, responsibilities have included leading the development of Threat Hunting SaaS services in Microsoft Sentinel, specifically designing features such as the Watchlist and Hunt sessions. Previously, Mahajan developed the Azure Disk Encryption (ADE) service, extensively used for over 1 million IaaS VMs. Prior experience includes software engineering roles at Moka5, Expedia, Inc., and IBM, focusing on cloud services, email itinerary parsing, and security content management. Mayank Mahajan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
