Mehis Ottis

Mehis Ottis is a Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where they lead a team focused on offering Postgres databases as a Platform as a Service (PaaS). Previously, they served in various roles at Microsoft from 2020 to 2024, including Database Platforms team lead and Senior Engineering Manager, where they contributed to data protection and compliance initiatives. Mehis began their career as an IT specialist at Tallinn City Office and later worked as a software developer at Itella Information AS. They hold an MSc in Information Technology from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, along with diplomas in Administration of Information Systems and Technical Programming.
