Michael Genden

Michael Genden is a custom AI silicon design leader with extensive experience in microprocessor development. They began their career as a Senior Product Development Engineer at AMD from 1997 to 2002, followed by a role at IBM as a Microprocessor Logic Design Engineer from 2002 to 2010. Genden has held various positions, including CPU Design Manager and Design Execution Lead, and worked as a Microprocessor Logic Design Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor from 2010 to 2013. They are currently the Director of Silicon Design at Microsoft. Genden holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
