Michael Karimian

Michael Karimian is the Director of Digital Diplomacy at Microsoft, where they focus on business and human rights, implementing the UN Guiding Principles in the tech sector. Their previous experience includes roles as a Human Rights Program Manager and Senior Manager of Human Rights at Microsoft, as well as a Project Manager at the United Nations ESCAP. Michael also worked as a Trade Finance Manager at NatWest Group and held positions at organizations such as the International Labour Organization and the World Economic Forum. They earned a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Durham and another Master's in Public Administration from Columbia University.
