Michael Stump

Michael Stump has over 18 years of experience in engineering and quality management, beginning as a Design Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. from July 2002 to April 2005, where responsibilities included designing fuel injectors and leading improvement initiatives. Transitioning to Demand Detroit from April 2005 to March 2009 as a Technology Engineer, Michael developed low pressure fuel systems and successfully led projects to bring components to production ahead of schedule. Michael then served as a Process Improvement Manager at Savage Services from March 2017 to January 2020, where efforts focused on refining operating systems and implementing a formal process improvement program. As a Senior Engineer at John Deere from March 2009 to October 2012, Michael led global validation activities for fuel systems, introducing significant improvements in warranty costs. Currently, Michael holds the position of Equipment Quality Manager at Microsoft since February 2020, managing contractor-installed generators for data center construction. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
