Micheleen Harris is a data scientist and bioinformatician currently working as a Senior Data Scientist Manager at Microsoft, leading a data science and machine learning team focused on mobile networking products. With previous experience as a Senior Program Manager and Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, Micheleen has also held roles as a Software Engineer at the Institute for Systems Biology and a Staff Research Associate at UCSF. Micheleen earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and is completing a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Previous contributions include work on large-scale proteomics and genomic studies, as well as consulting for data visualization using R.
