Murali Rao is a seasoned Director and Principal Silicon Architect with extensive experience in developing hardware architectures for diverse technologies. They held significant roles at companies including AMD, where they contributed to multimedia architecture for game consoles and VR/AR headsets, and Cadence Design Systems, where they focused on neural network accelerators and functional safety. At Toyota Motor Corporation, Murali defined the hardware architecture for future cockpit innovations, while prior positions at Sony, Texas Instruments, and Microsoft further showcased their expertise in SoC development and architectural leadership. Murali is currently a Principal Silicon Architect at Microsoft, involved in architecture for various key platforms.
