Nick Carr

Nick Carr is the Technical Director for the Microsoft Threat Intelligence Center (MSTIC), where they focus on cloud intrusions and investigations, leading security research and intelligence analysis. With two decades of experience, Nick previously established Microsoft's intelligence response to cybercrime and served as Director of Advanced Practices at FireEye, specializing in adversary tradecraft. They have also held roles at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Defense, among others. Nick is a frequent speaker and blogger in the cybersecurity community and holds a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity Systems & Operations from the Naval Postgraduate School.
