Norman Barbosa

Norman Barbosa is currently the General Manager and Associate General Counsel for Law Enforcement, National Security, and Telecom at Microsoft. Previously, from 2007 to 2018, they served as an Assistant United States Attorney, leading the Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property program and investigating international cybercrime and national security issues. Earlier in their career, from 2002 to 2007, Norman was a Special Assistant United States Attorney, focusing on Social Security benefits fraud and identity theft. They hold a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and a BA in History from California State University-Sacramento.
