Omar Rodriguez

Omar Rodriguez is an accomplished network security professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Network Security Engineer at Microsoft since August 2008, Omar has also held roles including Security Engineer, Senior Service Ops - Team Lead, and Operations Engineer within the company. Prior to joining Microsoft, Omar worked as a Network Engineer at Evertec Inc from May 2001 to July 2008. Omar holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad del Turabo, earned between 2005 and 2007, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Puerto Rico, obtained from 1995 to 2001. Omar completed secondary education at Carvin School, graduating in 1995.
