Pawel Janowski

Pawel Janowski is currently a Principal AI Architect at Microsoft, where they focus on responsible AI, autonomous agents, and performance evaluation. Previously, they served as a Principal ML Engineering Manager and a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, contributing significantly to the development of scalable AI infrastructure and MLOps at Microsoft and Recursion. Pawel earned a PhD in Chemistry from Rutgers University, where they conducted research in computational biophysics and received multiple fellowships. They also hold a Master’s degree in Philosophy and an MS in Biophysics from Jagiellonian University, where they graduated summa cum laude.
