Plamen Petrov

Plamen Petrov is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, currently working on Microsoft Fabric. They previously served as a Tutor in various Computer Science courses at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, where they facilitated student learning through discussions and explanations of course material. Plamen also worked as a Research Assistant at the University, focusing on serverless infrastructure and optimizing remote function calls. Their experience includes a role as a Resident Assistant, supporting first-year students, and a Research Intern at the Edinburgh Architecture and Systems Lab, where they contributed to the design of covert communication systems. Plamen earned a Master's degree in Informatics from the University of Edinburgh, graduating with First Class honors.
