Riya Modak

Riya Modak is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in full stack development and product management. Currently working at Microsoft as part of the Azure Resource Manager SRE team, Riya has gained diverse experience through roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Software Engineer Intern on the JPMC Onyx team, and as an iOS Developer for App Team Carolina, contributing to the PORCH client team. Riya's prior experience includes teaching at Girls Who Code and leading product management initiatives at the UNC Product Management Club, where innovative tech solutions were developed for startup clients. Riya holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Data Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has participated in impactful projects, such as a web app solution for nonprofit UtmostU during a Code For Good hackathon.
