Rob van der Ent is the Security Practice Lead for APJ at Microsoft, where they oversee regional teams of cybersecurity architects and consultants, focusing on defending against cyber threats and driving digital transformation through cloud-based security solutions. Previously, Rob served as CTO and CISO at Novus Technologies and held senior director roles at Avanade, leading the development of comprehensive security solutions. With extensive experience across multiple regions, including Europe, the US, and Asia, Rob has contributed to financial growth and regulatory compliance in the cybersecurity domain. Additionally, Rob is pursuing a degree in Technical Computer Science at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
