Ruining Sun

Ruining (Renee) Sun is a Senior Data & Applied Scientist at Microsoft, where they apply their expertise in data science and machine learning. They previously held positions at Zillow as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern and at Kwai Inc. as a Deep Learning Researcher Intern. Ruining earned a PhD in Computational Biology from Tsinghua University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from New York University. Their research experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Tsinghua University and a Visiting Researcher at UCLA, where they developed innovative computational methods for protein dynamics and biological data analysis.
