Rushmi Malaviarachchi

Rushmi Malaviarachchi is the Vice President of Product Management for Microsoft Teams, where they leverage extensive experience in product leadership to build exceptional teams and create innovative products. Previously, Rushmi has held various roles at Microsoft, including General Manager for Remix 3D and Principal Group Program Manager in multiple divisions, where they contributed to strategies that spanned identity technologies and Windows apps. An advocate for collaboration and ownership within remote teams, Rushmi focuses on simplifying complexity and prioritizing quality in every project. Rushmi holds educational experience as a Teaching Assistant at Queen's University, where they supported the Growbot Robotics Lab.
