Salil Dave

Salil Dave is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the software industry, currently engaged in the Microsoft Project Airband initiative, which focuses on providing affordable internet access. Salil holds a BTech from IIT Kanpur, an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, and two MPAs from Harvard University and Brigham Young University. They previously served in various leadership roles at Microsoft, including Director and Senior Director, where they contributed to significant projects such as the Digital India initiative and authored a book on cloud adoption. Their earlier career includes a senior role at i2 Technologies and a notable position as an Assistant Collector with the Indian Customs and Central Excise, where they streamlined international trade processes.
