Sam Kemp

Sam Kemp is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in AI research and engineering, currently leading efforts in model optimization and runtime at Microsoft’s CoreAI division. They have a strong background in data, machine learning, and high-performance computing and have published multiple peer-reviewed papers and a doctoral thesis on AI applications for solving real-world problems. Previously, Sam worked at Thayer Brook Partners LLP and Predicted Markets, focusing on quantitative trading and software development for financial analysis. They hold a BSc in Computer Science from Cardiff University and a PhD in Evolutionary and Neural Computation from The University of South Wales.
