Sarah Welty is a Principal Design Research Manager at Microsoft, specializing in shaping user experiences through strategic consultation. Previously, Sarah served as the Head of Research and Innovation at FIS, where they established a new research function and led a team in rigorous research efforts. Prior to that, they held various roles at GutCheck, managing research teams and executing projects for major clients, and were a Market Research Analyst at Chartwell, Inc. Sarah began their career at RTI International as a Communications Intern and has also contributed as Editor in Chief for The Davidsonian. They are currently pursuing a BA from Davidson College.
