Sebastian Blohm

Sebastian Blohm is a Principal Applied Scientist at Microsoft, where they lead large-scale Machine Learning and Information Retrieval projects for conversational AI. With a strong background in NLP and DNN, Sebastian has experience implementing advanced Machine Learning models in high-traffic applications. They previously held various roles at companies such as TEMIS, IBM, and Microsoft, contributing to significant research and software advancements, including work on Bing technology and large-scale information extraction. Sebastian completed their PhD at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, focusing on pattern-based information extraction from the web.
