Shawn Choi

Shawn Choi is a Senior Product Designer at Microsoft, leading the design vision for the People Companion app within Microsoft 365. With over 15 years of experience in human-centered design, Shawn has worked across various sectors, including non-profits and global tech companies, and has a strong focus on user-centric solutions. Previously, Shawn held positions such as Senior Manager, UX Design at Charitable Impact and Senior UI Designer at Best Buy Canada, among others. As an Advisory Board Member at Vancouver Film School and a Subject Matter Expert for the Government of British Columbia, Shawn also plays a vital role in shaping design education and standards in the field. Shawn graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design from Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
