Shay Kels

Shay Kels is an AI for cybersecurity leader with extensive experience as a research manager and applied researcher. At Microsoft, Shay pioneered machine learning methods in Microsoft Defender, protecting millions of customers globally, and currently leads a team focused on ML and Data Science solutions. Previously, Shay held positions at RSIP Vision and Galor, developing algorithms and leading software engineering teams. Shay holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Tel Aviv University, where they also earned multiple advanced degrees in the same field.
