Steffen Bjerkenås

Steffen Bjerkenås is a Principal Solution Architect at Microsoft, specializing in helping enterprise customers maximize value from the GitHub platform. Previously, they served as a Staff Solution Architect and Sr. Solution Architect at GitHub, where they developed custom solutions and provided training on GitHub features. Before that, Steffen held various roles at Allianz Technology, including Sr. Solutions Architect, where they acted as a trusted advisor to CIOs and development teams across 16 countries. Steffen also has a background in the Norwegian Armed Forces, developing IT networks and participating in NATO working groups. They hold a Master’s Degree in Information Science from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Forsvarets høgskole.
