Stephen Wight

Stephen Wight is a Senior Corporate Counsel at Microsoft, focusing on intellectual property law and emerging technologies since 2010. They provide strategic patent counseling for Microsoft Discovery & Quantum and Microsoft Research, facilitating advancements in quantum computing and AI. Prior to joining Microsoft, Stephen was a Partner and Patent Attorney at Klarquist Sparkman, LLP, where they managed significant patent prosecution projects and contributed to various facets of intellectual property law. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University and a Doctor of Law from the University of Washington School of Law.
