Steven Burrell

Steven Burrell is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in higher education. Burrell served as Vice President of IT and Chief Information Officer at Saint Leo University, where responsibilities included managing budgets and overseeing Technology Services. At Northern Arizona University, Burrell continues to hold the roles of Vice President for IT and Chief Information Officer, as well as Professor of Practice, advising doctoral candidates and collaborating on instructional technologies. Previous positions include Chief Information Officer at Plymouth State University and Georgia Southern University, and Executive Director of Data Processing at Hutchinson Community College. In addition to university roles, Burrell is actively involved in various boards and committees, including the Internet2 I2i Steering Committee and the Microsoft CIO Advisory Board, focusing on diversity and inclusivity in the tech community.
