Subhadeep Dey

Subhadeep Dey is currently a Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft, where they develop solutions for sign language translation and speech recognition. Prior to this role, Subhadeep worked as an Applied Scientist at Microsoft focusing on acoustic modeling for German speech recognition and advanced the state-of-the-art for Swiss German speech translation. They gained research experience as a postdoctoral researcher at Idiap Research Institute, exploring semi-supervised learning for speech recognition systems, and during their PhD, they developed approaches for speaker recognition. Subhadeep also interned at NEC Corporation and Adobe, contributing to projects on speaker verification and domain adaptation in speech recognition. They are pursuing a Master of Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
