Talhah Mir

Talhah Mir is a seasoned Principal PM at Microsoft since February 2006, focusing on product management for Purview Insider Risk Management and Data Security. Mir has held various leadership roles including Principal PM Manager for the Insider Threat Program, where responsibility included establishing a cross-company governance structure, and Principal PM Manager for Application Security, leading a team that secured multi-million dollar external deals. As a Sr. PM Manager for Security Education & Awareness, Mir partnered with Microsoft's marketing to launch the HelloSecureWorld website, emphasizing application security. In earlier roles, Mir managed a security tools engineering team and contributed to Microsoft’s Application Threat Modeling initiatives. Mir's career began as a Software Engineer Intern at Nortel Networks, developing a software metrics utility for source code quality analysis. Talhah Mir holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
