Tao Chen

Tao Chen is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, currently working within the Office of the CTO to enhance the integration of large language models into applications. Previously, Tao contributed to synthetic data initiatives in Microsoft Mix Reality and worked at XPENG, focusing on motion prediction and sensor fusion for autonomous driving. Tao's early career included experiences as a student researcher at USC, where they explored reinforcement learning for quadrotor control, and as an intern at Oregon State University, participating in the development of the bipedal robot Cassie. Tao holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.
