Tao Meng is currently a Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft, where they lead a team of engineers in developing the core chat experience for Microsoft Teams. Prior to this role, Tao worked as a Senior Software Engineer and a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, contributing to various projects and improving user experiences. Tao holds a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering and Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from the University of British Columbia. Additionally, they completed a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from the same institution.
