Theodore Zhao

Theodore (Zhengde) Zhao is a Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft, where they focus on creating state-of-the-art multimodal foundational models for healthcare AI. Previously, they served as a Research Intern at Harborview Medical Center, developing an optimal routing system for anti-retrovirus treatment delivery, and as a Data Science Intern at Rotella Capital Management. Theodore also gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Physics and Applied Mathematics at the University of Washington, where they completed both a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics.
