Tom Heerey

Tom Heerey is currently the Assistant General Counsel and EMEA Regional Lead for Infrastructure Legal Affairs at Microsoft, where they lead the EMEA legal team for the datacenter and infrastructure business. Prior to this role, Tom held various positions within Microsoft, including Senior Attorney and Data Center Global Policy Director, and led the commercial legal team in Microsoft India. They began their legal career at K&L Gates and later served as a Senior Associate at A&L Goodbody, advising clients across multiple sectors on intellectual property and regulatory matters. Tom obtained a BA and an LLB from Monash University and completed a Professional Certificate in Digital Policy at University College Dublin.
