Valentina Simon

Valentina Simon is currently an Applied Scientist at Microsoft on the Purview AI Research Team, focusing on data security and synthetic data generation. They hold a B.S. in Statistics & Data Science from Yale University, where they conducted research on explainable AI for protein function prediction and presented their work internationally. Valentina has gained experience through internships at Microsoft, Bristol Myers Squibb, and MITRE, as well as research roles at Yale and Johns Hopkins, specializing in machine learning, causal inference, and AI governance.
