Vasileios Zois

Vasileios Zois is a Senior Research Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, where they lead the development of Garnet, a high-performance, Redis-compatible remote cache-store. They possess extensive experience in building research prototypes that bridge parallel processing and database management systems. Previously, Vasileios served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Southern California and held internships focusing on high-performance computing and machine learning at Micron Technology. Vasileios earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside, after obtaining an MS from the University of Southern California and a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the University of Patras.
