Xiaoyu Xu

Xiaoyu (Celia) Xu is a Senior Data and Applied Scientist at Microsoft, where they focus on time series telemetry data analysis. They previously served as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Lucendi, Inc., working on semantic segmentation and image processing. Before that, they were a postdoctoral scholar and an Assistant Project Scientist at UCLA, concentrating on motion classification in stroke patients and developing a self-administrated rehabilitation system. Xiaoyu earned their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, where they applied machine learning to motion sensing.
