Yelayne Ng

Yelayne Ng is an experienced engineering and data science professional with a strong background in sensor characterization, system design, and data analysis. Yelayne began the career at Zoran as a Design Verification Engineer and progressed through roles including Senior Design Engineer at Philips Semiconductors and Field Application Engineer at Cradle Technologies. Yelayne contributed to the TOF 3D sensor development at Canesta, which was later acquired by Microsoft. As a Senior Systems Manager at Microsoft, responsibilities included managing TOF sensor characterization for Kinect and HoloLens, overseeing budgets, vendors, and testing schedules. Currently, Yelayne serves as a Senior Data Scientist in Mixed Reality at Microsoft, focusing on test data analytics using Power BI and SQL. Yelayne holds a BSEE and a BA in Business Economics from Brown University, as well as an MS in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.
